This Level 3 Award consists of one mandatory unit; it provides an introduction to the learning and development sector.
This award has 25 guided learning hours attached to it. These are covered over 3 workshop days. You will need to gather and present evidence for the qualification.
When you register, you will see that your qualification has a stated end date. You can complete your qualification sooner than the end date if you are able to submit work regularly and at a good pace.
If you do not complete your registered qualification by the stated end date, you may be able to apply for an extension which will incur additional fees.
The mandatory credit in this award (6 credits) is included in the mandatory unit.
This mandatory unit is split into learning outcomes with associated assessment criteria.
The aim of this mandatory unit – Understanding the Principles and Practices of Learning and Development – requires you to know and understand the principles and practices that underpin learning and development.
You will need to complete a workbook that shows your research into learning and development practice and the associated legal requirements.
A maximum of 12 students per cohort. This qualification is for learners aged 18 and above who are capable of reaching the required standards in a learning and development delivery or assessment context.
